Our specialist gases are the basic raw materials used in the manufacture of lots of everyday products – such as credit cards, smartphones, computers and bike helmets. In medical technology, they are used in the production of drugs. They play an important role in the production of composite materials, such as those used for rotor blades on wind turbines.
Our specialist gases for surface treatment are used in the production of surfaces that are subjected to particularly high mechanical stress. One example of this is the paddle wheels of hydraulic turbines, which are used to generate energy at hydroelectric power stations.
